"How are you?", a question that often I'm asked
But to answer this question is too great a task
Could you use more precision and narrow it down?
For so general a question we'll have to sit down.
Are you asking my physical, emotional, or mental?
My arthritis, my hearing, my vision, my dental?
About my spiritual or financial condition?
Or perhaps you are asking my political position.
My heart rate and blood pressure's up and no wonder
When you pause to consider the stress I am under.
This past month my banker has made quite a mistake
Cause he says that my outgo surpassed my intake.
When I saw my physician on Thursday last week
He was saying a specialist I needed to seek.
But still, laying all of my ailments aside
He said I was doing quite well otherwise.
And as for my mental I can't quite remember
If I'm coming or going, if it's May or December.
What your question covers is quite monolithic!
So, for mine and your sakes could you be more specific!
Considering your question, I get quite bogged down.
So, I think the best thing for us both all around,
Since an in-depth answer would take too long to tell
My general response will be, "Thanks, I am well"
